Dr. Moreno graduated with a Masters Degree in Dental Prosthodontics from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. Since 1986 she has been a member of the American College of Prosthodontics, and in 2000 joined the Academy of Osseointegration, a worldwide dental implants association.

In Tijuana, Mexico, Dr. Moreno was the chairperson of the Scientific Commission for the Baja California Implant College (2009-2011). This position required her to be in charge of organizing monthly lectures for this group of specialists. Dr. Moreno helped to organize the AMIB (Dental implant association of Mexico) At the September 2011 meeting, she was instrumental in scheduling the Chairman of the International Dental Federation. Professor, Dr Elmer Reich Biberach as guest speaker. She has published four books of dentistry for Latin speaking countries, and a dental assistants on-line course for Procter and Gamble, global education instate, with ADA credits. From 2003-2007, she was a member of Editorial Committee of Dental Tribune GMBh (Germany), a top international news-journal.

She is currently the chairperson for international relations of AMIB. She gave an implant course at Glidewell, Newport Beach last April, 2013, and today she is teaching a new implant specialty course for dentists.
